RACHEL GARLIN

I have also had the good fortune to work closely with San Francisco’s Rachel Garlin, a singular songwriter, activist, live performer and teacher.  We made several albums and EP’s together, as well as her creation of a full scale concept album and theater musical in 2023, The Ballad of Madeline and Therese.  Her songs make a statement, whether political, environmental or romantic, that resonate with music enthusiasts and radio programmers across the US.  She has received critical acclaim from the San Francisco Chronicle, Americana Highways, and the writers for the Olivia organization, as well as many other publications.  Rachel is found consistently on the FOLK-DJ charts internationally and collaborates with many other writers in her workshops and creative endeavors.
