THE STRAY BIRDS

After an exhilarating five year run together those birds have flown.  We went from zero to international acclaim, traveled the US, Canada, the UK and the Benelux countries, won all kinds of awards (Folk Alliance and NPR), made new friends and fans and money, rocked the Spotify world, and learned a ton of new things together.  Unfortunately that wasn’t enough, as the band has called it quits to pursue individual creative endeavors.  I wish them the best as they navigate the music business, and mature as musicians and as young people.  My thanks to Mariah Czap at Yep Roc Label Group, John and Lucy Laird at the Americana Agency, Maria Ivey at IVPR, and Loudon Temple at Brookfield-Knights in the UK for their belief and hard work.  Would not have happened without each of them.
